THE LEGENDS OF LAKSHADWEEP

                                                                                    
      Late Dr.Mohammed Koya and Al-haj PM.Sayeed were the great leader of Lakshadweep people, they had led people to light from darkness. Their memories are ever lasting in each and every Islander's mind. PM. Sayeed was one of the eminent personality of Indian Parliament, he also known as the architecture of modern Lakshadweep. Dr. Mohammed Koya was a well known socialist and Islanders innocently called him Bamban. Of course these two great men are the legends of blue sea.
      PM.Sayeed had possessed the universal fame, he was one among the scholars of Indian Parliament, he was a mult-lingual scholar as well. His contribution to Lakshadweep is immense and unforgettable, he had become Parliament member so many times, and he becomes Log sabha deputy speaker in Vajpay government and later he becomes Indian Cabinet minister.    Dr.Mohammed Koya was a proponent of socialism to Lakshadweep, he was also a medical doctor. His socialist views help him to become a good leader in Lakshadweep, his views and ideologies had spread among Islanders as a music. Islanders  respectfully called him their 'Bamban'. 
     Islanders are deeply indebted to these two great men's contributions for ever. Their sincere attempt to bring to light in Lakshadweep is unforgettable.

          Why can't  LAKSHADWEEP   PSC

      Around thousand and more graduated job aspirants are wandered in every Island's streets, they have lost their hope about future because of the evil recruitment system of Lakshadweep. They were undergoing various predicaments in their day to day life, most of them had studied in Kerala and somewhere.
       We should study the reason behind the unemployment of Lakshadweep people, we can't say that reason is illiteracy because Lakshadeep is on of the well literate area in India.

നാം ബലിയാടുകള്‍

        നാം ആരുടെയോ ബലിയാടുകള്‍

     കാലം എത്ര ദൂരം പോയാലും നമ്മള്‍ ദ്വീപുകാര്‍ ആര്‍ക്കോവേണ്ടി കോലം തുള്ളുന്നു. നാം എന്നും ആരുടെയോ അടിമകളാണ്, നമ്മുടെ പൂര്‍വികര്‍  വെള്ളക്കാര്‍കുമുന്നില്‍ വീര്‍പ്പുമുട്ടി, പലതും സഹിച്ചു,എന്നാല്‍ഇന്നുനാം വീര്‍പ്മുട്ടുന്നതും,അടിമകലാവുന്നതും നമ്മുടെ Bureaucracy കു മുന്‍പിലാണ്. 
         ഇതാ ഒരു അടിമച്ചന്തയിലെ ദ്രിശ്യങ്ങള്‍, സ്വന്തം കൂരയണയാന്‍ പാടുപെടുന്ന ദ്വീപുനിവസികളാണ് ഇത്. 2011 ലും ഈ അവസ്ഥയ്കുകാരണമെന്ത്?? എല്ലാം സഹിച്ചു തന്‍റെ തുരുതെത്താന്‍ കാത്തുനില്‍കുകയാണ്‌ ഓരോ ഹിതബാഗ്യരായ ദ്വീപുകാരനും.

SHIP STRIKE

     Ship strike became a historical event in Lakshadweep. Ship workers contininuing strike for their damands, simultaneously Islanders are undergoing various predicaments in their day to day life. Most of them staying in lodges and hotels. Yet, LDCL(Lalkshadweep Developement Co-operation ltd) couldn't reach a firm solution for ship workers's demands.

HISTORY OF LAKSHADWEEP

          ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM    AGATTI.
  
    Agatti archeological museum recalls Budhist  heritage of Lakshadweep. There is 7th century Budha statues which was dug up from many Islands. 

               A new light towards LAKSHADWEEP history.

    Two hundred years old coins had found from Chethlath Island in Lakshadweep. Jiyoga Varshiya dynasty had used these coins for trade and commerce, Corolass IX was the king of Jiyoga Varshiya dynasty in 1800s.
